PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: May 6, 2026 | Effective: May 6, 2026Introduction
Welcome to Block Split ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how our game handles any information related to its users.
This Privacy Policy explains what data is (and is not) collected when you play Block Split on Android or iOS, how that data may be used, and your rights in relation to it. Please read this policy carefully. By installing or playing Block Split you agree to the practices described here.
Data We Do NOT Collect
Block Split is an offline, single-player puzzle game. We do not:
- Collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
- Require account registration or login.
- Transmit any gameplay data to our servers.
- Record your location, contacts, camera, or microphone.
- Share or sell any user data to third parties.
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
To remember your preferences and progress the game stores a small amount of data only on your device using the platform's local storage (shared preferences):
- High scores and game progress.
- Sound / music on-off preferences.
- selected difficulty or game-mode settings.
This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the game removes it entirely.
Third-Party SDKs & Permissions
Block Split currently integrates only the following trusted dependencies:
- Flutter & Flame Engine — game rendering. No data collection.
- flutter_animate / google_fonts — visual enhancements. No data collection.
- shared_preferences — local key-value storage only.
- audioplayers (flame_audio) — plays local audio files. No network calls.
None of these SDKs collect user data or require special permissions beyond audio playback. If we add advertising or analytics SDKs in the future, this policy will be updated before the relevant version is released.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
We currently do not integrate any analytics or crash-reporting service (e.g., Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry). Should we add such a service in the future, we will:
- Update this Privacy Policy at least 14 days in advance.
- Provide an opt-out mechanism where legally required.
- Ensure any data collected is anonymised and aggregated.
Children's Privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)
Block Split is a general-audience game suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information, there is nothing specific to children to disclose. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in EEA countries). If you believe we may have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any data we hold about you.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to any processing of your data.
Because Block Split stores data only locally on your device and does not transmit it to us, you can exercise most rights simply by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the game. For any further requests please contact us.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data within our control. All local data is stored in the operating system's sandboxed storage, which is inaccessible to other apps on your device. Transmission of data does not occur, so network-level security risks are not applicable.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will provide a prominent notice within the app.
